Colour and Bouquet: ruby red colour with purple reflections, on the nose vanilla, red berries and violet flavours, the taste is dry, harmonious with very fine tannins.
Vine: Barbera 100%.
Vineyard: 7.200 sqm. planted in 2003 with a density of 7.200 plants/hectare. Exposure south – south/west, altitude 300 metres above sea level. Sandy melted ground .
Pruning: Guyot with a load of 28.000 gems/ha
Yield: for the 2007 harvest the yield per hectare has been of 7.9 tons and the yield grape-wine of 62%.
Wine-making: fermentation in steel tanks at constant temperature of 23°, with a maceration of eight days and malolactic fermentation in steel.
Aging: twelve months in barrique, six months in steel and at least twelve months in bottle.
