BARBARESCO D.O.C.G.
BARBARESCO D.O.C.G.
ORIGIN Barbaresco, the Prince of wines, was once a simple Nebbiolo wine, till when it was named like the village where it is grown.
The area where Barbaresco is produced comprises the villages of Barbaresco, Treiso and Neive, and a small part of Alba San Rocco Seno d’Elvio.
Barbaresco is made with grapes grown in estate vineyards in the village of Treiso. The finest expositions, the reduction of the grape bunches with thinning out process and the over-ripening in the vineyard give to the grapes the maximum concentration to make this wine.
