BAROLO D.O.C.G. LA SERRA
BAROLO D.O.C.G. La Serra
ORIGIN THE KING OF WINES, THE WINE OF KINGS. This great legendary, almost mythical wine is a real jewel of both Italian and international oenology. Barolo wine was already produced before the 1600s, and it was appreciated by the Royal family of the House of Savoy. Credit is due to Conte Camillo Benso di Cavour- a great enthusiast of this wine – for the growth in its popularity and prestige.
The prestige for Barolo Case Nere starts in the vineyard, it is made with grapes grown in estate vineyards in the village of La Morra. The finest expositions, the reduction of the grape bunches with thinning out process and the over-ripening in the vineyard give to the grapes the maximum concentration to make this wine.
