ORIGIN   
Nebbiolo is  an elegant, precious vine with noble origins. It is also the red varietal with the longest history in the region.
Rivere is a single estate vineyard, located in the village of Castagnito, in  Roero  area.  The rich soil and the sunny exposition, with the thinning out process in order to maximize the quality of the grapes in the vineyard, give to Nebbiolo Rivere its great intensity and elegance

WINE –MAKING
All the grapes are picked by hand.
Crushing of the grapes, destemming, fermentation with its own skins at controlled temperature.
It is aged minimum18 months in large oak barrel.
 
 Tasting note:  ruby red colour tending to garnet with aging,  intense bouquet  with hint of ripe red berries and violets, rich  and warm in the mouth. Elegant tannins. Wine for long aging
 
 
 Serve with: It goes well with every kind of food specially with mixed roast and boiled meat both red
and white. And then also with young and ripe cheeses and truffle-flavoured dishes.
