Varietals: selected Aglianico.
Place of production: Montemarano, one of the 18 municipalities located from the
disciplinary of production east of Avellino.
Sensory properties: intense ruby red colour tending to garnet with aging. The aroma is soft
and persistent. The taste is dry, harmonious and balanced.
Recommended food: red meats and game, hard cheeses.
Aging: aged for 3 years, at least one in wooden barrel; best drunk between 4 and 8 years.
