LAMBRUSCO DI MODENA SPUMANTE D.O.C. BRUT
Our Lambrusco di Modena Spumante D.O.C. is obtained from a selection of the best Sorbara grapes entirely gathered in small cases (17 kg. max) by manual harvesting. Each grape is carefully handled in order to prevent them from crushing during transportation to the winery.
The crushing activity respects serious batching criteria (55%). The must is submitted to clarification followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After resting at least six months the wine receives selected yeasts prior to being bottled.
The bottles are then stored horizontally in piles for the re-fermentation process in a constant ambient temperature of 12°C. The following steps are remuage, disgorgement and liqueur d’expédition addition.
This Lambrusco has a bright ruby colour and high limpidity. Perlage is smooth and well combined.
Delightful, compact and distinguished scents can be noted at the nose with hints of wild strawberries. The palate perceives an immediate fresh note enhanced by shades of red fruits and berries.
