VINO SPUMANTE BRUT IL MATTAGLIO METODO CLASSICO
"Il Mattaglio" is obtained from a selection of the best Pinot and Chardonnay grapes entirely gathered in small cases (17 kg. max) by manual harvesting.
Each grape is carefully handled in order to prevent them from crushing during transportation to the winery.
A gentle crushing activity ensures that only the very best of the juice undergoes fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
After resting at least six months, the wine receives selected yeasts prior to being bottled.
During the following Spring the wine is subject to a second fermentation in individual bottles according to the traditional method.
Once the re-fermentation process is completed, the bottles are stored for over 20 months in order for yeasts to confer a mature and complex taste to the Mattaglio. It then follows the dégorgement (disgorgement) and the addition of liqueur d'expédition (dosage).
Golden reflections and persistent graceful bubbles make this sparkling wine uniquely elegant.
As you drink the wine you can immediately perceive notes of citrus and fruit revealing a complex body of multi-layered aromas.
It is fresh and sophisticated on the palate, its flavour persists thanks to its distinctive balance of acidity and velvet finish.
Its sensual colour and delicate taste combine in sublime harmon.
